Backup Encryption Root Key

While executing a command mentioned on point 20 in SAP document 2444090

Could not execute 'ALTER SYSTEM SET ENCRYPTION ROOT KEYS BACKUP PASSWORD "password"'

SAP DBTech JDBC: [257]: sql syntax error: Incorrect syntax near "ENCRYPTION": line 1 col 18 (at pos 18)
Can I encrypt Redo Log Volume like Data Volume in this version?
In order to re0generate this error please execute the command
./hdbnsutil -backupRootKeys <filename>.rkb --dbid=<dbid> --type='ALL'
Please help me to resolve this issue.
