    While the time of the dispensation of a service session in a solution manager for a SAP system in relation to an oracle database, it will display a wrong rating for the check “Database Growth”. This check will be rated in yellow and which will define that the database for which you are working in is increasing at a rate of more than 30 GB of data per month. You will not find the check has been modernized to get your account of recent storage systems and it will also permits the BI system that is offered with a temporary large hike in databases size. For this you have to click on Database Administration and then Administration Statistic and then you have to click on Database Growth. Oracle Database works with SAP applications are as below: • The databases that are unfilled will not use any disk space. • You will find the most important for SAP applications i.e. 60 to 70% together from all the tables, lobs, indexes and partition in an SAP installation will be empty. • Now all the unfilled tables, LOB’s and indexes are faster so due to this you have make all your database installation for SAP a lot faster. • And at last all the queries that are related to oracle database dictionary space will run automatically faster. You can either take a help of Transaction- Code DB02 and by comparing database in relation to respective dates. Hope this article might help to understand database growth for oracle in SAP

    Dear ratna,

    In old db02 (db02old), it is possible to list all growth of tables:

    db02old -> Space Statistics -> select * -> Ok

    With the new db02 or the dbacockpit, it is possible to view the top growth:

    Space -> Segments -> Overview -> Top Growth
