Defining Commodity Codes in S/4HANA 1610

Commodity Codes cannot be written in Table T604

Hello SAP Experts,

The commodity codes cannot be defined or written in S/4HANA 1610

Please help me to resolve this error.

Please do the following to avoid this issue:
1. In order to maintain commodity codes please use transaction /SAPSLL/CLSNR_01 or use App 'Manage Commodity Codes'.
2. In order to maintain Intrastat Service codes please user transaction /SAPSLL/CLSNR_03 or use App 'Manage Intrastat Service codes'.
3. And also make sure that the role SAP_BR_TRD_CLS_SPECIALIST have been assigned to a relevant user. And to check that please see the app tiles inside Fiori launchpad.

The issue you are facing is caused because with the release of S/4HANA OP 1610 the maintenance of the commodity codes moved from table T604 to table /SAPSLL/CLSNR. Therefore the option for maintaining the commodity codes in customizing are no longer available.
