Root-cause for No reachable host left

Hello Experts,

The error is returned when a communication attempt to the HANA service fails, mostly due to an unavailablility of the HANA processes.

Please check that HANA tracefiles for any issues reported during the time covering the timestamp of the shortdump. Also a firewall might be blocking the port.

    If you cannot identify any obvious unavailablility of the indexserver and the issue is reproducible, please activate an SQLDBC trace, reproduce the issue and contact SAP Support.

    Please refer to note 1993251 for a detailed description on how to activate an SQLDBC trace.

    It is also recommended to check whether any firewall might be interferring here. 

    In a special case this issue might also be caused by a HANA client bug which is affecting

    HANA SPS8 clients up to revision 85.04
    HANA SPS9 clients up to revision 97.01
    HANA SPS10 clients ut to revision 101

    in scale-out environments. This issue is outlined in note 2172036.
