Question: How to Check Oracle Listener is working or not?

Answer:

In Windows go to start run and type services.msc a service window will come which contain the information of all the services are running in your system.

Now simply check for the Oracle Listener service. If it say started its means that oracle listener is running.

    go to Run
    lsnrctl
    lsnrctl> status

if the comming massage show no any error code related to ora::
then it means ur listener is running..
    if error shown then
    lsnrclt>start
then it will start the listener in ur current system..
if stile not able to start then it means ur listener is not hving configured with the database service..
then u hv to take the help of Netmanager Oracle utility to configured listener and related service..
