To implement the VPN connection, you require the following components
If you want to implement the service connection amongst your system and SAP, you always ought to have a SAProuter; you will find SAP router with in the R/3 system and please remember it is free of cost from the SAP service market place for distinct platforms. For doing this you have to adjust the parameters with in the transaction OSS1
IF you want to make a service connection you ought to have a VPN/IPsec-enabled router or firewall which has to complete all the necessities.
    • Summarizing Security Protocol (ESP)
    • Internet Key Exchange (IKE), with support of the Diffie-Hellman Group2 (1024-bit key)
    • Encryption Algorithm 3DES
    • Authentication Algorithm HMAC-MD5 (or HMAC-SHA1)
    • Authentication with pre-shared key (generated by SAP)
    • Support of the Diffie-Hellman Group2 (1024-bit key)
    • Key exchange with Internet PKIs

Next you must have the official IP addresses which will be further needed for the WAN interface and for the related SAP router if you want to generate VPN connection, please make sure that you would not be able to utilize the reserved IP address
And at last you will need an internet access having a bandwidth of at least 64 kbps if you want to make a service connection as well.

If you want to see the response times that is being used by sampling process you have to use SMLG, essentially the load balancing works according to a selection of the reply times over the earlier period. For this you have to select the lowermost response time. Mainly you will face the problem that you would not be able to add another user on the new one that will produce a meaning full sample, it is happening because you have only one of the apps-sever with a huge amount of users.
You may use the SM51 transaction code and next you have to purposely log on to the lesser one, till the occurrence of the transactions lists a meaningful sample and the comparison will initiate to work. Finally you would be able to use the new server that will ultimately get chosen as the app-server of choice.

Please make sure that the DB-server for which you are working on will be quicker on a smaller loaded system as it does not have the tcpip stack convert time as soon as it reads any kind of data from the database. The scope and retention of the server has no influence whatsoever until that server becomes busy.

If you want to demonstrate the list of active application servers that are already been listed in the SAP message server you must have to use transaction code SM51 or if you want to manage and to demonstrate the status, users, work process in the respective application servers that are relate to the particular SAP system you can easily use SM51

Archive administrator will help you in permitting you to write ,remove ,read or you can easily load your program again and moreover it will also help you to create all the related background jobs for all the related program, archive administrator also enable you to achieve all your archiving sessions or to set the modifying settings, or interject and continue archiving sessions, next it will help you to display all your data archiving statistics or a network graphics for your archiving objects.
Please make sure that the whole data archiving purposes are only accessible as soon as they are being performed with the help of transaction SARA. You can easily archive all the sessions using the BC_archive which can only appropriately be involved or omitted at the time SARA is used.
Next you have to check whether the data is archived one or more time and side by side you have to confirm that if there is any kind of duplicate data or not . Because some time duplicate data can be the huge reason for the error as soon as the check sum is being performed on archived data.
As soon as you are working on a write job, SARA transaction will check if the:
Alternated is being used by other distinct write job or imperfect or interjected archiving sessions exist.
Please bear in mind that you would not be able to archive the same data again and again until or unless you receive a warning message.
Hope this article might help you for the above issue
