brconnect -f cleanup
It is used to clean the old log files from saptrace and sapcheck directory
brconnect -f next
It is used to adopt the next extents (i.e. Next extents can be increased automatically)
These jobs can be scheduled using DBCALENDER (DB13). How ever when these jobs are scheduled BRCONNECT runs in the background.
BR-BACKUP
BR Backup is used to take backup of the database (Datafiles). When ever a backup is triggered BR Backup is initialized.

3. Incremental Backup
4. Partial Backup
