SPAU/SPDD Modification Adjustments

SAP R/3 4.70 SR1 / AIX / Oracle 9.2
I am in the process of applying support packages. When I am applying the support package SAPKB62041, transaction SPAM has run into errors with the below message:


"The import of the queue was successfully completed. This means all imported repository objects are active in the SAP standard version. But the system determined that some of the Repository objects included in the Support Packages of the queue have been modified in your system.
Check whether you want to keep or restore these changes. To do this, start transaction SPAU by choosing `Call SPAU`.
If you want to keep your modifications proceed as follows:
- Open a new session
- Adjust the modifications of the affected objects.
- After completion of this task you can continue the queue application by choosing `Continue` (F8) "

The people responsible for the modifications listed in SPAU are not around. Also, all the modifications done with Modification Adjustment tool have the status green. Modifications done Without Modification Adjustment have the status Red. I need to retain these modifications. When I select an object and choose Adopt Modifications, SAP is prompting me to enter the Access Key, which I do not have right now.
Can I skip this phase for now and Adopt the modifications after applying the support packages?
This is mighty urgent. Please let me know as I am stuck in the middle.
