The statistics collector does not calculate weekly or monthly statistics even though the relevant options are activated.
As a result of an incorrect parameter entry in the collector parameters, the system may not calculate weekly and monthly statistics if the TOTAL statistic is deactivated
You can correct the incorrect database entry using the following procedure:
Schedule the TOTAL collector (ST03 - Goto - Parameters - Performance Database - Cumulate server statistics to a systemwide TOTAL statistic).Save the parameter.
Start again Transaction ST03 using /nST03.
Unschedule the TOTAL collector (ST03 - Goto - Parameters - Performance database - Cumulate server statistics to a systemwide TOTAL statistic).Save the parameter.
The next collector run should now generate daily, week and monthly statistics again. This happens with the collector run between 04:00 am 05:00 am, provided that these statistics are generated only once daily.
As of Basis Release 6.10, use transaction ST03N to change the parameter. To do this, switch the transaction to the expert mode. Under "Collector & Perf. Database" - "Workload collector" - "Statistics to be generated", you will find the parameter "Aggregate Workload Data ... to a systemwide TOTAL". When changing the parameter, follow the above guidelines.
