We are using R3load to copy or migrate an SAP system based on NetWeaver 7.40 SP5 or higher with active ABAP source search (switch: "SRIS_SWITCH_SOURCE_SEARCH") to SAP HANA. And software provisioning manager terminates during the data import.
R3load currently lacks a function to create additional indexes for the conventional secondary index.
As a workaround, you have two options:
1.) Open the TSK file for the terminated R3load job. The file has the name REPOSRC*.TSK or SAPSSEXC.TSK. Search for the entry: "I REPOSRC~SRC C err". Change the entry to "I REPOSRC~SRC C ok". The import should then continue to run without errors.
You can use transaction SE11 to create the index in the running ABAP system at a later stage.
2.) Copy the attached file SSEXC.SQL to the installation directory of the software provisioning manager or from the export DVD to "ABAP/DB/HDB". Ensure that the sidadm on which the R3load is running has read authorizations to the file.
When you choose Retry, the system should create the index. To check whether R3load has read the file, check the REPOSRC.log file:
It should contain the following lines:
(SQL) INFO: Searching for SQL file SQLFiles.LST
(SQL) INFO: SQLFiles.LST not found
(SQL) ERROR: could not find regular export directory
(SQL) INFO: Searching for SQL file SSEXC.SQL
(SQL) INFO: found SSEXC.SQL
(SQL) INFO: Trying to open SSEXC.SQL
(SQL) INFO: SSEXC.SQL opened
