Actions are the kind of logics that are being associated with the transaction in the SAP CRM. Executions for the Actions can be done conditionally, or it can be done automatically or it can be completed manually. E.g. If you want to save the order after sending out an order confirmation , you have to create a follow –up at the time when the convinced status has been set or you can use it after the completion of order after a given period of time . You can get all these actions in the standard system, and you can even create all your actions simply and you can allocate them to all your own kind of logics and all the conditions. Further giving a rapid view of the actions that are about to be in this blog, you have to focus on the action profiles and the action determination.
Now the question arises about the Action Profiles.
IF you want to define the actions you have to use it with in the action profile, with the help of these it will be linked to the transaction type or with an item category. For this you have to set up the number of parameters that will include the following steps:
1) You have to check at what the execution of the actions is done whether it is manually /automatically or for which kind of instance.
2) Then you have to check if the action is dependent upon the partner or not and if is dependent then you have to check with which partner function.
3) How long would be the execution of action should be done?
4) What will be the work done by action. This will include few options:-
a) You have to send the mail or fax or print.
b) Now you have to execute a method.
c) At last you have to trigger an alert.
By using all these steps you would be able to create a document using actions.
