During delivery creation from stock transport orders (within a company code or Cross Company), the attempt is usually made to deliver the quantity specified in the purchase order item completely.
As of Release 4.0, a further option is available:
You can set the indicator "Transfer of confirmed schedule line quantities from orders" (TVSHP-KZUBEBE) in the global shipping data settings in the Implementation Guide.
This leads to the attempt to transfer the quantity confirmed by the availability check in the purchase order to the delivery.
The basis for whether a purchase order item is regarded as completed from the outbound delivery point of view is always the requested quantity in the purchase order item, never the confirmed quantity of the purchase order item.
A stock transport order item is regarded as completed from an outbound delivery point of view if one of the following 3 requirements is fufilled:
1. It was delivered fully. As a result, the "delivery completed" indicator is set during goods receipt and the item is regarded as completed.
2. Only one partial quantity (greater than or equal to 0) could be delivered. When the "delivery completed" indicator is set during goods receipt or in the stock transfer order item, the item is regarded as completed. The indicator can only be set if no delivery quantity > 0. A delivery item for this purchase order item from the goods receipt point of view is not completed (for example, goods issue posting has not yet occurred or the item is in transit).
3. As of Release 4.0:
In the customer master for the receiving plant, a partial delivery agreement "Make one delivery" is set. When you create a delivery item from the purchase order item, the latter is automatically completed when a delivery completion indicator is set and it is regarded as completed. This only works if the delivery item (also with zero quantity) has actually been created.
You set the transfer of the confirmed purchase order quantity in the global shipping settings. This differs from the actual purchase order quantity.
The purchase order item has already been delivered in the amount of the confirmed quantity.
However, the purchase order item remains uncompleted. This is not what is required.
Complete the purchase order item by setting the "delivery completed" indicator or the delivery completion indicator, as described above.
In this case, variant 3 is to be preferred.
