Component FICACMP_MDBAR what is it used for? How can I remove it if I don't need it?
In Collections Management, the component responsible for publishing the selected master data is the one belonging to the work item that is displayed in the account identification and the FCC components. If the work item includes a master data group, the component is visible as part of the L-shape header area. The other master data level is displayed in a drop down box if the FCC component displayed supports the filtering of the displayed content by choosing a different level from the drop down box.
If you do not require a backend connection in your role, you must remove the component FICACMP_MDBAR from the layout profile assigned to your role.
In Customizing, choose the path "Customer Relationship Management
-> UI Framework
-> Technical Role Definition
-> Define Layout Profile"
1. Select the layout profile assigned to your business role.
2. Display the details.
3. Deselect the "Work Area Hdr. Display" indicator and remove the component HDRFICAMDBAR
If you confirm the business partner, business agreement, and - depending on the industry - the contract, this component publishes the data to the FCC components that need this information to retrieve data from the back end. The component also sends changes, such as a reset of the confirmations, to the components to ensure that they are sync.
If you use the FCC components in back-office mode (that is, you use the selection screens of the FCC components to select the business partner) then FICACM_MDBAR ensures that this information is also published to the other components.
The component is not visible to the user.
