Error: Changing Profit Center from to DEPT-A Is not Permitted?

Hello SAP Experts,

I came across an error and want to share with you all in this hope that you guys will assist me in solving it as soon as possible. So the scenario is when I assign profit center in cost center account I got the following error:
Error: changing profit center from to DEPT-A Is not permitted.
Message no. FAGL_ORG_UNITS011.
Kindly help me to solve this error.

Hey Sushma you need to check if there is some validation rule which is not allowing you to assign that profit center.

Ob28 and check the current defined validations.
