Internal Order settlement to AUC -> Main Asset

Dear,

Can you pls clarify my doubts re AUC Settlement.

1. When AUC Asset Class is created, Do we have to chose "Line Item Settlement" and "Investment Measure"
Can you pls the difference between the two.

2. While creating Allocation Structure, We have 3rd tab as Settlement cost element.
Can you pls tell me diff between "By cost element" and "settlement cost element".

3. In KO88, We have Posting tab, in drop down it has "Automatic" and "Full settlement".
Pls let me know when to use these two.

4. When Main Asset Class is created, Do we have to choose "No AUC" or " Line Item Settlement". To this Asset Class, AUC will be settled.

5. Once Internal Order is settled to AUC, How to check the balance on AUC posted from Internal Oder.

Can you pls the difference between the two.

Ans : You can select only one any of these options in AUC asset class. In line item settlement are managed with the option for final line item settlement to receiving assets or cost centers.

In Investment measure option assets can only be processed by means of the order or the WBS element, to which they are assigned. Those asset cannot be posted into Asset accounting directly.
