May I know that what is line item level and document header level? And difference between line item level and line item display?

Every document posted in sap will have 2 side
1) document header level: it will have the document type, document header, document posting date, reference etc.
2) line item level: it will carry the GL no debit and credit, posting key, amount etc
Would like to add that Line Item level is just the data at line item level. but line item display is the display of GL accounts each line item item wise/transaction wise. line item display is activated at the GL account master data level in the company code segment.
So the same GL accounts if used by two company codes then it can have line Item display in one company and balance display in another.
