No Business area can be determined for item 000100

hey guys i need ur help. I created a sales area
z000/z0/00 where
sales org is z000, dist. ch. is z0, division is 00.
the plant is z000
 w/c I added it to company code 1000.
 
 Then during VA01 using my custom sales document type
 ZA1(same as OR)..
 a status message appeared as follows>>>
 
 "No Business area can be determined for item 000100"
 
 "Message no. V1 599
 The system could not determine a business area for
 item 000100
 The item has plant z000 and is assigned to company
 code 1000 for a which
 a bsuiness area is required. This is caused by
 incomplete settings
 for Customizing. "
 
 How can i configure this bec. when I add the
 material number it
 prompts the same message again.
 
 Can you please give me the menu path or other
 instructions will do.

Define and assign business area by plant in enterprise
structure and assign

    1. You need to assign your sales area to a business in
    spro under Enterprise settings.
    OR
    2. For the combination of Plant and Division assign
    business area (this config is also under same tree in
    spro)

    I am trying to create the sales order for bom material with third to party scenaro,i have created material for main item with the item category group bans,and for sub items i have created two materials with bans only,when i am trying to do the sales order i am not able to do the sales order bcoz its showing :no business area can not be determined for the item 00020",

    if i will change the item category from bans to norms for components it should be working,

    Pls help me on this.
