No Controlling Area has been Assigned to Company Code Error while GL Posting F-02

Hello Experts,

May I know that while GL posting F-02 I am getting error no controlling area has been assigned to company code. Why this error showing? See below attached screen for your reference.

Please use T-Code OKKP, and Assign Controlling area to Company code.

I think you are using the updated version of SAP where co area is mandatory, please do the co configuration setting like maintain co area in okkp, then set version in okeq, then for business transaction kank. after that you can't get the error, again if you get error as commitment item (that is fund management), please kindly post again.
